How do I care for my red peonies?

Cut stems at a sharp 45-degree angle with a clean knife. Place immediately in fresh lukewarm water with flower food. Remove leaves below the waterline. Keep away from sunlight radiators and fruit bowls. Change water every two days and re-cut stems. With correct care red peonies last 5 to 7 days.
